The JSON editor enables you to focus on creating JSON data sets. It includes full colorization of your JSON source code, auto-brace/bracket insertion, and brace/bracket pair matching. Additionally, the Aptana Studio outliner fully outlines your JSON objects for you.

Reporting Engine

The reporting engine displays statistics about the specified project and can generate custom reports. The reporting engine includes a standard project report, an asset report, and a Sample Report template for creating your own reports using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Internet Explorer^® Debugging

The Internet Explorer Debugging extension enables full breakpoint debugging for your Web applications directly from within Aptana Studio. Like the already integrated Firefox debugging capabilities of Studio, you can now watch variables, set conditional breakpoints, and seamlessly step through your code in Internet Explorer 6 or 7 on Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Remote import

Remote Project Creation

Use the new Remote Project Wizard to easily create projects for remote sites. Simply enter the project name, select or create a remote FTP/SFTP/FTPS connection, and optionally download on finish. When the wizard finishes completely your project, you'll have a project that is automatically ‘bound’ to your remote site for uploads, downloads, and synchronization.

FTPS and SFTP Support

Aptana Studio Pro adds support for secure FTP connections for your web development projects. Aptana Studio Pro offers FTP over both SSH (SFTP) and SLL (FTPS), giving you ultimate flexibility in securely accessing your content. All Aptana FTP tools, such as the Sync Manager and Remote Project Creation wizard support these secure protocols.

Adobe^® AIR^TM Application XML Editor

Aptana Studio Pro adds a custom WSYIWYG editor for editing application descriptor files for Adobe AIR projects. The editor includes fields for various AIR application metadata as well as a interface for adding, editing, and removing file type associations. It also includes selectable controls to manipulate the initial, minimum, and maximum window width and height and the initial position of your main AIR application window.
